About Us
Our Story
.dose was born in 2020 from a deeply personal journey.
Long before I ever thought about starting a mushroom company, I was simply trying to find my way back to myself.
Like many people, I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age and spent years relying on prescription medication to help me function. While it served a purpose in my life, I often felt disconnected from myself. I was constantly searching for something that felt more natural, more sustainable, and more aligned with who I truly was.
That search eventually led me to mushrooms.
What began as curiosity slowly became a profound relationship with these incredible organisms. Through intentional use, education, self-reflection, and respect for the process, I experienced meaningful changes in my life. I felt more present. More connected. More creative. More capable of navigating life from a grounded place rather than constantly feeling like I was forcing myself through it.
That experience inspired the creation of .dose.
From day one, my intention has never been to build just another mushroom brand. My goal has always been to create products that I would personally trust, use, and proudly share with the people I love most.
Every product we offer is grown, crafted, packaged, and prepared with an extraordinary level of care. We are a small, female-owned business, and unlike many larger companies, we are involved in every step of the process. From cultivation and formulation to packaging and customer support, our hands touch nearly everything that leaves our doors.
Our products are not mass-produced.
They are grown with intention, prepared in small batches, individually packaged by hand, and carefully inspected before they ever reach a customer. Every capsule is filled by hand. Every chocolate is poured by hand. Every order is packed by hand.
More importantly, every product carries our energy, attention, and genuine desire to serve the people who trust us enough to be part of their journey.
Before products leave our space, I often take a moment to pause, reflect, and set intentions for the people receiving them. Some might call it prayer. Others might call it gratitude. For me, it’s simply a reminder that there is a real human being on the other side of every order who is seeking healing, growth, clarity, or connection.
That level of care takes time.
It also involves a tremendous amount of responsibility and risk.
Building a business in this space isn’t easy. The research, education, cultivation, testing, packaging, compliance, and countless hours behind the scenes require an enormous investment of time, energy, and resources. We choose quality over shortcuts every single time because we believe that’s what our community deserves.
For that reason, our products may not always be the cheapest option available.
But they were never meant to be.
When you support .dose, you’re supporting handcrafted products, ethical practices, small-batch production, years of experience, ongoing education, and a business built from the heart rather than from a factory floor.
Most importantly, you’re supporting a mission.
A mission to help people reconnect with themselves.
A mission to share the transformative potential of mushrooms responsibly.
A mission to dose the world with a little more love, healing, curiosity, and possibility.
Thank you for being here.
With gratitude and MUSH LOVE,
